Sledding With Tigers/KIDS. Split

1.
I was born on a southbound cart Fell asleep, and now I'm here Closed my eyes at the border of San Diego and somewhere near But I will die upon this train But I will spend some time living off the tracks And I will die upon this train But I will spend some time before the Devil and I meet And I will dies upon this train, But I'll be seated in the front Your hand in my hand What more could a boy want?
2.
The streetlight, it is fading So it glows a shade of red, But I will not stop until I reach my bed And then I'll waste the precious moments That the night has with me alone, But I'll keep the window open Just to hear its song... Just to hear its song. Crumbling, falling speech patterns Tripping from my tongue But I can not bare to wait to see this sentence done Crumbling, falling speech patterns Dripping from my teeth The awkward silences Help my sentence breathe The youthful, trembling choir Starts to show its age Only reading the reddest words Placed upon the page A crumbled piece of paper, I am falling through the wind I have words upon my face that read the end.

I woke up in the morning With the sunlight shining bright And I checked my phone for messages From the people I texted last night Then I tried to find my glasses So that I can see the day So I can get up and convince myself that I'm ok. It's time to go to work I'll take the hours I can get But at this rate I'm not gonna get the check I need to pay the rent Well at least I've got a job So I say to feel better But some days I wish I woke up to a day that really mattered to me Well the best things about me Are sometimes the worst things about me And they're always the things that end up hurting The people I love
4.
Speak louder, 'cause I don't wanna hear my thoughts Hug harder, 'cause I don't wanna feel my arms Sing louder, 'cause I don't wanna hear my voice Just talk to me, oh please talk to me 'Til I don't feel like this I'm afraid to be lonely 'Cause when I'm lonely, I get sad And when I'm sad I sit alone And it goes on and on and on I'm feeling better Because life can't be that bad But the dark part of my brain that tells me, "It's that bad" It will shut, it will shut up, IT WILL SHUT UP Any day now...

about

Sledding With Tigers San Diego, California

We're a bunch of kids, who get mistaken for adults, making music because its fun. We play some hybrid of folk-punk-bluegrass and whatever other music we've listened to recently.
Let's play a show together.
