Now That's What I Call Music (I Don't Particularly Care For) Volume: 1

Aidan Mason An album filled with some hits as well as some misses. An amusing idea - Taking some of mainstreams most memorable shit storms and revamping them with some indie flare and a good sense of humour. However as you might expect with already poorly written songs - some covers come off a bit rotten themselves. However I have had a lot of fun with this record and it has to be said that making Creed enjoyable is a commendable feet in of itself. Favorite track: Smooth (Carlos Santana).

Genoveva Romero-Marquez How the hell do I pick a favorite track?? These kids are good. They crack me up & have me singing along to these songs for the first time [ever]. I'll probably keep changing it. Uhh... It's just real damn amazing. Listen to it, you won't regret it :) Favorite track: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Taylor Swift).
Richard Wedekind

Richard Wedekind Nothing better than a good reinterpretation of someone else's song. It's a hit or miss business, but I think about half of the tracks on this album have succeeded (four or five stars). Favorite track: Hot In Herre (Nelly).
Jimby Jams

Jimby Jams Half of this album is amazing and the other half is just meh. It was worth the money just for the Pumped Up Kicks cover, though. Favorite track: Pumped Up Kicks (Foster The People).

about

I asked a bunch of my friends to record covers of their least favorite songs. Other people found out about it, and now we have 34 covers. PRETTY GNARLY. Anyway, here they are.
The challenge was not to be a dick, and I think we may have succeeded?
Some of these are really amazing, and some are not the greatest, but HEY, who cares? FYI, Track order has nothing to do with my personal preference.
Thanks to everyone who submitted. THIS IS SO SILLY.

about

Sledding With Tigers San Diego, California

We're a bunch of kids, who get mistaken for adults, making music because its fun. We play some hybrid of folk-punk-bluegrass and whatever other music we've listened to recently.
Let's play a show together.
